Quick Observations:

  • The obvious: Ohio State jumps from No. 2 to No. 1, Baylor up to No. 2 from No. 3; Clemson down to No. 3.
  • No. 2 Baylor and No. 3 Clemson each received 119 votes, but Baylor becomes No. 2 because it received three first place votes while Clemson received one.
  • All Top-10 teams are undefeated except for No. 6 Alabama (Ole Miss), No. 8 Stanford (Northwestern) and No. 9 Notre Dame (Clemson).
  • No. 4 LSU travels to No. 6 Alabama Saturday evening.
  • No. 5 TCU travels to un-ranked Oklahoma State Saturday afternoon.

Quick Observations:

  • No. 1 Baylor and No. 2 Utah each received 52 total points, but Baylor is listed higher because they received three first place votes (Kristen, Damien and Jason).
  • No. 10 Michigan received only one vote and is listen at number 10 because it’s highest vote (Fourth/Seth) is higher than Florida State’s highest vote (Eighth/Damien).
  • With the exception of Utah, every team in this weeks poll will play at least one other team in the poll. No. 5 Ohio State will play both No. 8 Michigan State (Nov. 21) and No. 10 Michigan (Nov. 28).
  • All teams are undefeated excepted No. 6 Alabama (Ole Miss), No. 9 Stanford (Northwestern), No. 10 Michigan (Utah, Michigan State), and NR Notre Dame (Clemson).
